Probably a great place when they aren't busy. We walked in and sat down for about 10 minutes and nobody came to take out order so we left. We were kind of in a hurry. We'll probably try it again if we are in the area.
Bartender was friendly. It was nice coming in from the heat but got chilled/chilly very quickly in shorts and a tank top where I didn't wanna stay inside long, but I'm thin an a freeze baby. 😂 I didn't eat today but have eaten here before so gave it a 3.
Came into the place, smelled like Marijuana inside the restaurant proceeded to go outside to the outside patio, waited 10 mins before we decided to leave. Never came to take our drink order. Won't be visiting this place ever again
There few weeks ago . Weren't busy , but service was terrible.,server /bartender playing on phones and chatting not doing what should be doing . Bread on Rueben was stale and burnt .and small amount of corned beef not a serious place to eat or drink..
Cozy place. Friendly environment. Cute and attentive bartenders. They also are great at taking care of customers with the billing process and making sure everyone is alright.
Good bar food as well. This time we had the soft pretzels and they were prepared correctly.
Thanks!
Ordered takeout on St. Patrick's day. Food was really good. However an hour after picking it up and eating it I get a rude phone call from this place asking me if I was going to come pick up my takeout order. After informing them I already picked it up and ate it they said "than you need to come pay for it". I told them I paid online and that I have the receipt to prove it. They set the phone down and proceeded to talk amongst themselves saying "this guys trying to steal food." They than just hung up and never came back on the phone to apologize. Very odd and rude treatment. I went in the next day to get an explanation and they said no manager was there and one would call me. They never did.
After seeing some of the other reviews on this place, I felt compelled to share my own experience. I went with a friend on Saturday night, 1/21/23. The building is small, but the inside seems well-maintained and clean, albeit somewhat outdated. Our server was very attentive, even though she was handling the entire bar and a full dining room with only one other person. She gave great recommendations and was very friendly. She made 'gummy bear' drinks for my friend and I which were OUTSTANDING. The food was good, too. I ordered a philly cheesesteak with fries, and it was tasty. The fries were fresh, hot, and salty. My friend ordered a burger, which she said was delicious, along the house potato chips. She said the chips were somewhat soggy.
Only things I didn't like about this place was how incredibly LOUD the music is. Also, some of the other patrons were disruptive (i.e. noticeably intoxicated, loud, and some were smoking weed). Overall, my experience was fairly good. Would probably go back.
This place was good but it's getting bad . The service is getting bad and the cleanest is bad. If Frank don't get his ack together it will go down hill.
Updated 7/20.
Figure I come back after 2 years and try again. Out of the Irish rolls again and we get the sampler and it's burnt. It was so over done that there was no cheese in the mazzarella sticks.
